Tobacco-Multi-Unit Data Analysis:
During the period of July through September 2015, two hundred and sixty-nine (269) surveys were collected from residents across 9 multi-unit public housing complexes regarding the implementation of smoke/tobacco-free protection. Since then, three of the 9 multi-unit public housing complexes have voluntarily implemented “house rules” which bans smoke/tobacco use within each unit and restricts the use of cigarettes/tobacco to designated areas of the common grounds. Follow-up post-assessment surveys will be collected at these 3 multi-unit public complexes, with one collection already completed at Jack Orr Plaza yielding 85 surveys.
