PARTNERSHIP TO IMPROVE COMMUNITY HEALTH (PICH)
The Miami-Dade Partnerships to Improve Community Health (PICH) Grant is a 3-year grant funded through the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) Division of Community Health. Through a collaborative partnership between the Miami-Dade County Department of Health and the Health Council of South Florida (HCSF), the PICH grant seeks to address:
- Tobacco use and exposure
- Poor nutrition
- Physical Activity
- Lack of access to opportunities for chronic disease prevention, risk reduction, and disease management
